Our Under 12-6 side put a exclamation point on their perfect season on Friday by taking out the premiership with a convincing win over Eastfield. The win marked the team’s 12th win for the season without a single loss.

The second XI continued a dream run on Saturday by taking out their 3rd flag in the last four years with a gritty win over North Ringwood at Barngeong Reserve.

We were hoping to get 10 games away this weekend but unfortunately our three Friday night junior sides all got washed out while our two Saturday morning teams managed to get their games in along with all of the seniors.

Eight games over the weekend with two of our junior sides still on holiday. Lots of good efforts across the board with our 1sts, 2nds and 5ths grabbing wins along with our Under 16s while our 12-3s had an exciting tie! The 3s and 4s put in good efforts but just fell short while our 14s also had a close loss.

Great to have 10 teams out there competing again over the weekend and while results didn't all go our way there were lots of great efforts and highlights as we go into the Christmas break.

Not a fantastic week for the good guys in Round 5 but we still managed four wins across the club. In the world of the seniors, our firsts remain undefeated withe a comprehensive win over Lilydale while in junior ranks our two U14 sides continued on their good form with wins and our 12-8s backed up their first win last week with another close victory.
